“The Ministry of Public Security is seeking public input on a draft law that imposes penalties for a range of unethical behaviours within family relationships.
The draft stipulates that forcing a family member to leave their legal residence could result in a fine ranging from VNĐ 5 million ($197) to VNĐ 10 million ($393). Additionally, threatening violence for the eviction could lead to higher fine, ranging from VNĐ 10 million to VNĐ 20 million ($787). Individuals who instigate, persuade or assist others in committing acts of domestic violence may face fines ranging from VNĐ 5 million to VNĐ 10 million.” – Viet Nam News
