According to Clause 1, Article 85 of the 2014 Law on Marriage and Family, when a parent falls under one of the following categories, the Court may issue a judgment to restrict their rights towards the minor child:
- Being convicted of one of the crimes of intentionally infringing upon the life, health, dignity or honor of the child or committing acts in serious breach of the obligation to look after, care for, raise and educate the child;
- Dispersing the child’s property;
- Living a depraved life;
- Inciting or forcing the child to act against the law or social ethics.
