It may become even harder to wean children away from the latest hyper-real headsets. If yelling at your offspring to get off their phones is hard now, I can’t imagine what it would be like in the future when screens are plastered – literally – on their faces.

Tech giants Meta and Apple are leading the transformation of computing: from hardware that rests on the desk or in users’ palms to glasses worn over the eyes.
